The Ice is Thin and the Fix is In

Dog Poet Transmitting.......

May your noses be filled with the scent of someone you dreamed of but haven't met yet.

Well, it is the day after, after all. The word completion function wanted to say, 'aftershave' (grin). I saw The Super Bowl last night. It came on at 12:30 PM my time. People were telling me yesterday that the games are fixed. I lacked personal proof of that projection and lacking personal proof is always my watchword because when I buy into anything and it's not true then I become false as a result to the degree of the severity of the untruth. I know for some that sounds like words; easy words to say, hard words to live by but... they are not just words. We see the cost of this factor in the lives of the people around us and in our own lives and the worst part of this is when people don't see it. No, that's not the worst part. The worst part is when they don't even care and the worst part of that is the changes they are certain to be put through in order to make them care. Caring is the gateway to compassion and compassion is the reservoir of higher love and higher love is a whole different ballgame than pedestrian love or any of the other things people conveniently mistake it for.

As a result of watching the game last night, it appears that the people who told me the games are fixed are probably right, not because I favored one team over the other but because I saw things that I can't deny (it's probably why I was cued in the first place, given that there are no accidents in my life) and that was quite a disappointment but I'll get over it. After all, the game of life is fixed and I have no problem with that. The truth is that I appreciate that feature as much as anything I can think of because it is proof positive that things work out. They may not work out in what we call a 'timely fashion'. They may not work out according to how we think we want them to work out- as if we had some clue as to what we really wanted- but things work out nonetheless. They absolutely do and that should make you confident of the future, depending on the confidence you have in the moment, dependent on what makes you confident. If it's the right thing it won't let you down, when the course of time brings you to the moment of reckoning in respect, or disrespect of what you have been depending on and... that WILL HAPPEN. For some of you it already has.

Madonna came on and it was so bad, so excessive, so egotistically off the charts that I couldn't watch. I saw a minute of it here and there with the sound off. I heard enough of the sound to be able to determine that I should shut it off. I'm assuming it's on youtube already. What the hell, let my fingers do the walking for you. I can see where this might prove informative in a cultural, anthropological sense. I think it was Norman Mailer who said that a person can tell a great deal about themselves by studying their shit. This video is well defined in that category and if you study it you will definitely discover a couple of things. One of them is that the intensity and complexity of the spectacle is commensurate with the absence of talent. The other thing is that it is indeed shit. I literally cringed with embarrassment, for the lack of embarrassment, on the part of the one who should have been embarrassed. I also cringed at the thought of those who were entertained by it for no other reason than the assumption that it must be worth watching because it was on TV in the first place.

This is why leaders have followers. This is why entertainers have fans. This is how the world gets fucked up because people believe that people in power must know what they are doing because why else would they be in such an important position? This is why people think this guy is representative of something they can't see. Why else would he live in a unique city state, with thousands of attendants and get to dress up like Elton John? Why else would he look like this? He should have Ellen Degenerate sitting next to him. What an A list couple that would be.

Do you get the impression that the world took a wrong turn at the corner of Shit and Go Blind? Can you put yourself in the position where the comic aspect comes into view and the full impact of the ridiculous dawns on you? This means putting aside the serious and threatening appearance of what seems to be the case, in order to be able to grasp that this really is all for the purpose of demonstration and that everything really is under control. People signed up for certain roles and levels of participation. All it takes to opt out is to take off the mask. There are different levels of investment in the mask. It gets to the point where some people really think they are the mask but... they are not.

When you interact with people, bypass the mask and mirror the entity behind it. This has a very peculiar effect on the situation and it is the difference between dealing with The Adversary or someone entirely different. It is the essential, core reality of the martial and marital arts. It is pure magic, prove me wrong. It is the expeditious route to awakening from The Dream. It is reality itself and the threshold of enlightenment. It's the simplest thing in the world. Know who you are talking to. You are talking to yourself. Every problem in existence is one of communication at some level between you and yourself.

I could move to Miami, dress up like Madonna and pick up Cuban boys for an aperitif. I could do almost anything, because anything and everything awaits my decision, to put on whatever mask fits the occasion. The mask is a suit of clothes. It is a uniform. It is what it is for the purpose to which it is applied and every purpose is given its relative importance, according to the intensity of the desire that motivates the whole dynamic and that is right where you are at this moment. This is where you reside for as long as the dynamic applies. We are like a person hanging by his fingertips from the top of a wall. Our hands are frozen in place. The ground is six inches beneath our feet. You have to let go. You can't see the ground beneath you and that is the fundamental proving ground of faith.

Here's an interesting thing. Many of us have been in situations of extremity. Some of us have been in life or death situations and some of us have been there more than once. I certainly have. Some of us have been in financial extremity, or suffered the loss of someone we did not believe we could live without. We've had our whole life crash down around us. We've had relationships on which very important things depended and had everything go south, despite our best or worst intentions and at the time, any of these things consumed all of our energy and thoughts. We didn't know where to turn or what to do and... we hardly think about these things now. We can't remember exactly how we got out of them and they're not important now, something else is. That's an interesting component of life and something most people don't give a great deal of thought to. Things work out.

The inside of the human mind is a very busy place. There is always something going on. In most lives the chatter and manipulated imaging never stops, until the life cassette runs out. There are simple techniques to empty the mind. I've given some of them out but it's like advertising demographics. They say you are guaranteed a two percent return, no matter what. The mind does not want to focus on itself. The mind is very alert to the implementation of controls, due to having gotten its own way for so long. It's like trying to put a bridle on a wild horse. Gaining control of the mind is similar to being able to ride that horse and it will take you anywhere you want to go; far more quickly than you can accomplish it on foot. In fact, it's a lot more like Pegasus than an ordinary horse and then some. If people had any real idea of the resident and latent powers of the mind, they would become quite expeditious about becoming more familiar with it. You could think of it as a magic carpet but it's a lot more than that too.

A lot of people wish they were Madonna, or any of the other retarded chipmunks who get the spotlight for one reason or another. Just being in the spotlight is so important to many people that it doesn't matter what it costs to get there or what they have to do to stay there. Don't get in these people's way or you'll be sorry. People are so driven to be in the spotlight that they often don't bother to develop any talents beforehand. I find that amusing. They don't care about how big a fool they make out of themselves, as long as they get to do it in a big public way. Look at the presidential candidates. Heck, look at the people who support them. It's all about the masks. The mask is an emblem of mortality. It costs your life. That is the price of the mask and not the worst of it. There's a lot of suffering that attends the mask. It comes with it as an accessory along with a lot of other things. Life is basically a costume ball, with levels of exclusivity and commensurate pricing.

Shakespeare was all about the masks. Shakespeare himself was a mask, in a good way. You're all familiar with the two masks that you often see on the posters for a Shakespearean play? Those are the operative symbols for the play of life. These faces alternate. That's what they do. If you have a real life behind the mask then the faces don't alternate. Otherwise, well, there you are aren't you? Got a problem, any problem? It's because of the mask. Accommodating the mask is the root source of problems. Happy Halloween!

Greetings path seeker. Fine post.

I am having some micro problems in the key of life. Awareness of what is really going on has paralysed me from engaging in the false world of the zionist MSM theatre.

I am no longer hurrying to conduct my life in a manner to be able to acquire more pieces of silver in order to purchase more material things I now know to be of little real value. I am sort of paralysed in my present state. Nothing that I want that inspires me to get 'going'. No so much learned helplessness as learned futility.

The rub is my three daughters (18-21) have now pulled back from interacting with me. They think my awareness and inactivity is an indication I am losing my mind. They are worried and cannot reconcile a father who is stationary.

It is perplexing to me. To regain my daughters I am now placed in the position of conforming to a world system which I know to be false.

A pickle.

To 'conform' to gain back those who I truly love or not or maybe to find a third path.

Thank you again for your post.

I love Madonna.

You don't like rap, either.
Sometimes, you just put down anyone whom you personally don't like. That is bc you are OLD.

You are turning into a grouchy old man. Maybe you need to stop putting down others who have worked hard, and have lots of talent?

It's just a thot. I realize you enjoy putting Madonna down. Maybe you don't get it?

Thank God for Madonna. She shows us that life is an adventure.

Yes, I know…my observations are a pain-in the-ass…takes all the fun out of things...deflates the balloon of patriotic pride most of you have while watching the show…which was interesting theatrically, and the football was fun…

…but fifty years from now when the rest of society is examining the criminal record of our leadership…. (Hopefully, well after the last of them has been legally found guilty of treason and executed)…and they begin to question how our society could have allowed such illegal, criminal behavior on the part of our government? The government that says it represents us? Or, after you watch a few videos of the drone bombings we are inflicting on innocent men, women and children, perhaps you will understand?

You people will be looked upon with the same disgust as those thousands of waving Germans at Nurnberg….I’m sure they were proud of their parades and entertainment as well,…too bad they had an evil, hollow society….that you cannot see fascism and criminal conduct on behalf of your military/government?
And how sad you cannot see the future for our country and kids!

Very sad...but very stud-like American responses…now go watch a video of one of those Libyan boys with their hands blown off, or their sister with her jaw blown apart,…then go back and watch your Madonna or football.

But if you want to be honest with yourself…you know everything around you is soaked in corruption and criminality…and Madonna’s show just looked like the end of a sad, commercial peak for the United States. From here on, it’s downhill and into more war-crimes...

Oh, wait…unless we happen to get another one of those convenient 911 type situations,…you know, the false-flag type attack used to justify some more killing and theft of other people’s resources?

Rah, Rah,..go America!

Katz, that comment did you far more damage than it did me and I assure you, you are going to be far less happy about the way you look at my age than I do. I actually look pretty good and if the attention I get from a certain segment of the population is any indication others think so too.

I'm surprised and not surprised at your admiration for Madonna. I knew you were superficial but not to that degree. I like how you ignored the entire rest of the post; probably cause none of it applies to you.

I dislike Madonna for a lot of reasons, besides the terrible songs and endless voice enhancements. For you to be so fond of her, I think it's a mistake for you to come to these blogs, not that you're not welcome but there's not much here for you. Have you heard of a site called TMZ or Perez Hilton? You might want to check them out for information and entertainment more in your groove.

Hey les

Agreed, that performance was Shit...but then I come to expect nothing less from Madonna period.

I have often wondered... people await the anti Christ, or an anti Christ. They look for all who appear evil to the nth degree and that will be him/her but.....what if he/she were the opposite of what those who believe expect, what if the true genious of the anti Christ was in having millions of people believe that he is of good, what if the greatest masterpiece is not in believing that he does not exist but that he does and is wrapped within he cloak of goodness???

I look at he pope and all I see is pure an unadulterated evil....

I never said a word about being against Jews. I have a number of lifelong friends who are Jews and I take great pains to explain and delineate at regular intervals. I am opposed to the actions of a segment of that community.

I also don't understand what you mean about Jews pushing my work. I do understand about your being anonymous.

The Pope, yes, his face is a record of something and when you consider his job before he became pope, that says it all. I am convinced that he became pope because he knows where a significant amount of bodies are buried. I'm also convinced that he looks like he does for the purpose of demonstration in the kingdom of the blind. The comic aspect of existence is really something these days. Those dancers performing for his is one of the more incredible sight gags I've seen in awhile

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I should mention that although it sometimes may not look that way that all of the blogs are different and have a particular purpose, usually. One might gain insight into the intent of this blog by reading the description at the top of the masthead. This is the most radical and socially critical blog. Smoking Mirrors is socio-political and Visible Origami is metaphysical.

The latter is the only blog that is important to me. I have the others because they help to draw people to Origami.

Sometimes when I get too mellow, several readers will give me static because they want fire and brimstone and are not happy unless they get it. I try to accommodate them although that is less and less of what I most want to say. Pleasing everyone is impossible and I do say things people wish I didn't say but I hope, at least that the things are say are mostly true.

Of course I contradict myself constantly, like talking about seeing past the mask and then trashing certain particularly odious masks. Jesus Christ knows a great deal more about all of these things than I do and he got pretty brutal on certain segments of the population so I figure there's a certain precedence and tradition for saying certain things based on the conduct and behavior of some who are infinitely more evolved and informed than I. Anyway, just by way of explanation.

I'm leaning toward stupidity but there is also the fact of Madonna's massive suckup to that neck of the woods and the likelihood that she'd like to see Palestine transformed into a giant platter of humus, not to mention her strong support of real estate swindler Kabala-Berg in LA. So, you never know. What I find interesting is the amount of attention it takes to become a lawyer in comparison to some of the levels of awareness that sometimes accompany the people who become one. Then again, the idea of wanting to... never mind, I've seen any number of good examples too.

It's a sad, but pretty accurate picture of the US today. All show, no real substance, everything blown out of preportion, pure decadence. And the mindless masses cheer. It's sickening.

I made it through about 1/2 the video without losing my breakfast, turning it off before I did, and no I didn't watch the game either. It's nothing but a distraction anyway.

Visible said...

Jim, I knew I didn't want to see the half time show but I had left the video running at the side of the screen while I was doing something else. However it was so bad I had to turn the sound off. Then, after seeing some things that the readers had pointed out to me, during the first half, I lost interest in the game and didn't pay much attention to the rest of it. All of a sudden the thrill was gone.

It turned out to be a good game Low Viz. I went to get some more vodka during Madonna's portion. I wouldn't watch that shit if they paid by the minute. A mixed crowd at the mancave with half rooting for the Pats and half rooting for the Giants. I knew it was over when they punted and left Eli with almost five minutes. You don't leave a high caliber quarterback with that much time. The hurt tight end Gronkowski really took away one of Brady's weapons. My brother bets on such things, I hope he put some on the right team. hee hee! Carry on Low Viz and you're only as old as you feel yourself to be and Madonna's sell by date expired 25 years ago. HOO Ruhh!

There are masks and then there are masques. The pairing is akin to funhouse mirroring.

Living up here in the Northwoods of Minnesota, my closest large city is Winnipeg, not Minneapolis. CBC Radio, though far deteriorated in cultural content and context from what it was some number of years ago, with accretions and adhesions of NWO PC bullshit; is still almost a quantum leap superior in terms of not assaulting the intellect and the aesthetic sensitivity than even Pubic Radio in the U.$., to say nothing of the ranting Wildebeests such as Russian Limburger on the commercial channels.

This morning CBC did a feature on the currently richest 'artist' in the world, whose name now escapes me, obviously for reasons of demonstration. He is known for suspending a shark in formaldehyde and for producing scores of 'paintings' composed of nothing more than more or less random dots. But this 'artist' is the toast of the investor-driven art world. For him, more or less in his own words, the money drives the art, rather than the art eliciting some money. Many of these dot pieces are not even his own work, but are products of his studio and given his imprimateur.

And the world flocks to his shit. The currently most successful artist on the planet is the moral and commercial equivalent of the Material Girl. Same Old Shit. Different hollowed-out being behind the mask.

The Masque. Some 600 years ago, the ruler of Milano, Lodovico Sforza, engaged his resident genius, a noted artist and idea man of that era, to construct a masque for Milano. Concept was for every man, woman and child in the city and its hinterlands to be a part of the festival, to don masks and costumes, to make music, to make art, to put on skits and acts, balls and banquets. Perhaps this conceptualization, this grand occasion, was the greatest ever public artistic and cultural engagement in the Western experiment.

Paraphrasing Shakespeare: All the world was a stage and all the people in it were playing roles, both assigned and self-ascribed. Producer of the Masque: Chap name of Leonardo da Vinci. Happened to read all about it in a biographical study dating back to the 20's by a lady name of Rachael Annand Taylor. Title "Leonardo the Florentine".
Madonna and the Sooper Bowels is almost a perfect funhouse inversion of the High Renaissance. Almost unarguably Leonardo was the fruit of Western Civilization. Madonna can be seen as an exquisite archetype for the ultimate denouement of the Kali Yuga.

Masks and Masques. They tell a tale.

Unbelievable, I just saw the half-time show on YouTube. So Illuminati, so luciferic. I counted with just one run through so many subliminals and not so subliminals. We should have a contest to see who can identify the most symbols. From the first, Madonna as master to a legion of military slaves dressed like Romans (Fascism). How about the devil finger sign, or the M (13) everywhere. Stands for Madonna, right? Or love and the military marching band comes out. Or the masonic symbols as lights. Or the Luciferic robes. Or the equating sex with love. Or the pyramid formations. Eye in the Pyramid in the background. At the end does she ascend? No she descends into the "underworld" and calls that home. I'm sure are more. That was just watching it through once. And the over the top hype? OMG.

Well then, I'm not old at all. I can still dance all night long. I'm very flexible from years of staying that way and usually when people guess my age around here they say between 35 and fifty, fairly equally. It has more to do with my manner than my appearance.

I don't feel much different than when I was much younger except I'm way smarter, heh heh. You have to go in one direction or the other and dumb is not on my menu.

Anyway, people toss around insults in the hope that it will injure the recipient and they generally stick to general grab bag items. Old is not considered good, so they use that. Fat, ugly and assorted are all immediate suggestions. It's the fruit of an impoverished imagination.

An interesting hypocrisy on Katz's part is that she would be horrified if someone practiced ageism around her but she's got no qualms about using it herself. Ironically. I don't come across as old at all. Frankly, there are any number of people that wish I would grow up and behave like a responsible adult, whatever that is and if energy is an expression of youth, there are all kinds of people in their 20's and 30'' who are far older than me... but I don't want to be concerned with Katz or anyone like her. I'm in a fine mood these days and expecting finer and that makes me feel exceptionally magnanimous, even if it doesn't appear that way at the moment (grin)

Stickman! I didn't know that fraud was the highest paid artist in the world. It just shows to go you. I thought for a long time that I should just get a beret and use my imagination to come up with a persona and a style and I could just be an artiste. then I always think of the gallery owners and who they are and... the dream dies heh heh.

I still hate rap music. I flat out can't stand it. Why is it that people think my dislike of something is a judgment on them? I don't care what people listen to. If I have to leave the room because I'm overloaded about hearing about 'bitches, ho's and bling' I don't insult the tone deaf, no message junkies (grin). I just leave and try to avoid letting the door hit me in the ass when I go. I don't like ballet or opera either, though I do like arias and Pavarotti. I can't stand modern art or modern composers, that's just me, it's not everyone else. My tastes are based on my appreciation of true authorship, nothing more.

Rap sucks and I know people give me examples of useful examples and I actually like Eminem a lot, not enough to listen to him with any regularity but enough to recognize his genius and early on I thought Public Enemy was great, the same with Arrested Development but these are needles in a earbud; wait a minute, that doesn't sound right. I like what I like and I don't like what I don't like and I know Madonna and are Gaga are deliberate redundancies of that whore of Babylon motif. Aging is going to be a bitch for the one and the other won't even make it that far.

Why do I feel the need to explain myself?

Visible said...

I hate to share this with you. I was just hoping it would stop but... A certain person is poisoning the well about me, telling tales about events and circumstance that are fundamentally not true.

If anyone out there has been receiving these poisonous emails, please contact me, so that I can put you in touch with people who were there and also people who got some of these emails and if need be, people who know me very well and who can explain very well why I might have felt the need to be a tad eccentric in order to facilitate my release.

As you know, I am all about purposes of demonstration and I think I will paraphrase Marcus Aurelius here, or was it Seneca? No matter. In order to see the native state of any entity, object or person, force it to demonstrate and if your worst fears are confirmed, you have been informed. If otherwise, consider the means by which you draw conclusions. Otherwise was allowed to continue vacationing in the Canary Islands because Otherwise was not needed.

It pains me to bring something up which I have no intention of explaining but yet one more email has come across my desk.

This is by example and not directly related= There is a commenter who comes around here most times But who rarely comments anymore) and whom I have known for a long time but at a far remove over recent decades.

He's captivated with his own importance while being shallow, vain and lazy most of the time. He has certain powers of appearance that give him one of those cruise lifetimes. Beware of such an event friends, always strive hard.

Anyway, under the cover of being a friend, he though it profitable, god only knows why, to talk badly about me. Now I have spent less that a year in this persons company over the long haul and that was decades ago with a few very brief exceptions so there was no ammunition to use that wouldn't have blown up in the chamber to begin with; not to mention he is held in contempt by all of our mutual friends and I am not. So he goes to another reader that he feels is sympathetic to him and rants about nothing at all; vague and indefinite he is. Promptly, this reader contacts me about it. He winds up outraged that someone would prefer my good graces over his, or expose him. Then again, I don't indulge in this sort of thing and there you have it.

I still love the guy, even though I never knew him in the first place. I pretty much love everyone because I have no choice; hopefully you understand what I mean by that. His primary motivation to do what he did was based on my accomplishing so much and his accomplishing nothing. This is what invariably leads to certain personality types having a grudge against me. They see me as some kind of competition against all the things they never did in the first place but claim to be good at.

Since I am pretty good at 'some' of these things, I can tell when someone is blowing smoke up my ass. I can separate what is intrinsically real about a particular process and what is not, mostly because I've been doing it for since whenever and when the tales are heavy on the person claiming to practice them but light on the details that compose the practice, my nose begins to twitch.

Recently I had to deny that I could do certain things simply because the space was co-opted by someone who could do none of them. Any fool would know that someone who has studied Kung Fu for years would know how to do T'ai Chi because they are the same damn thing. There's just a different application, the moves are the same, you just do slo-mo. And any fool would know that I can play the guitar, at least rhythm guitar because I play it on my songs; the rhythm part, not the midi leads. When I demur from doing things with some lame, or occasionally deft excuse there is good reason.

Now, I could be bullshitting about the divine absolutely and ruthlessly controlling my life. I wish I could share in your doubt but, 99% is too much of a margin for me to question.

There's not a person who has visited me that will not attest to the occasional supernatural and unexplainable experience, in a supermarket, a town fair, on the streets walking from one place to another. I couldn't and don't make this sort of thing up and if I fail to deliver on any particular assurance, one has to consider whether I remained for the term of the engagement.

Anyway, all I'm going to say and so on and so forth.

I have had tons of masks. I was a teacher, a soldier, a father, and a hater.

I still have a few masks left. One of them helps pay the bills to some other masked folks. I hate that.

Funny when I take off the mask, most people look at me as if I just put one on?

Vis your right people are all to happy to be what their arent. Mr Jung talks a great deal about this and the collective masks we use to talk with our self.

Sometime we need masks to play out roles for yourself to learn, like kids playing house.

Its silly to watch grown folks do this for pay but they love it. How is it they dont want to make their own masks for the ball but happily use created one, sold at the local Walmart?

I think you have said, in a way, the divine uses masks to talk with us too. What ever mask we will respond too, it wears?

Yes the masks are pretty over the top and dont really match with the actor inside them at this time. We still look on them for some insight. I think people are shopping for one that fits their ego and social needs before asking what they want to play and act out?

We need masks like space men need suits. But the trick is, dont make a mask so you can be here and breath the air, that a prison of sorts. Make a mask you like, and the world around you will find a reason to breath you in.

Katz, what am I going to do with you? I've said positive things about Eminem, Arrested Development and Public Enemy many times already here. Since you have the intellectual lifespan of a June Bug, I understand your reluctance to be a goddamn lawyer and at least go back and check. You do not want to meet me in a courtroom.

I still hate rap. It sucks. It's a vicious ear fucking experience and my ears can't take that kind of dick and had you been given the dick you needed to begin with, you wouldn't be here, consciously avoiding all of what got said the last time you waltzed into the room and rather devoting yourself to superficial arguments that are not germane to the court's focus. The judge would have already have you in a sidebar over this.

I suspect you are not very good at what you do. A lot of lawyers, failing at what's required, go into what I call; pretense humanitarian. Now arguably, you are late to the party and not privy (good word) to the degree I have gone to to explain why I feel as I do. At the same time, you are a lawyer and one would think that being aware of evidence was key to the pursuit of a favorable verdict.

You haven't even take the time to look or you would see that I have said these things many times.

Why are you arguing about musical tastes in the first place? It is because you won't address what you are really pissed off about. That's known as being disingenuous. You can't have it both ways. You can't behave as Miss Potato Head and then expect to be treated like you knew what you were talking about.

Look, why don't you get on a plane and fly over here. I'll order an 8-ball of cocaine from Silk Road. I'll let you take off your own clothes and then I will do some things to you for the purpose of demonstration (Susanne is cool with this) and then you can tell me about what hurts so bad, if any of it is left once I'm done. I'm not a fan of the 'ridden hard and put away wet' school of jackhammer sex, I just want you to say 'his name', whoever it was that messed you up so bad that you have to be so circuitous about simply asking me to do this for you. It's my responsibility to help you out. I'm willing to do this because it's the right thing.

Now, simply because you can't see how much this embarrasses you does not negate the fact that it is embarrassing. Cut your losses and if you don't want to (you do) fly over here and have your head unscrewed while we both dance on the wires, I can recommend one or two friends in just about every state on the Eastern Seaboard who will help you out as a favor to me. You might think I am joking about this but I am deadly serious.

Anytime you see a lawyer lady lose her perspective to the degree that she actually tries to make a case about a case that isn't even in the case folder, it's time to call in the chimney sweep and get the ashes hauled out of a fireplace that doesn't know the difference between ceramics and asbestos.

It doesn't surprise me that you love Pavarotti. When I hear Patrick Willis reading your work I get the same thrill. One thing about genius is that it recognizes its counterparts. Water seems to seek its own level.

I will come to see you this summer and we'll have some varieties of chat.

Dear Vis,

I wanted to write this to you over a month ago, but hesitation and time just kept me from it.

I had the strangest dream and you were in the dream. But, the dream felt more like telepathy. It was about two weeks before your gathering in the southland. I went to bed and was thinking about it wishing I could be there too. Any way, the dream was distorted in the way dreams tend, but I was sitting with other people around me (tho’ I never actually saw them) and you (a sort of shadow version of you) asked me a question. I don’t recall the question, but it was personal, requiring personal reflection. (there was no feeling of being put on the spot, or feeling of being personally invasive – sort of like being in a “classroom” and everyone was comfortable with whatever was being discussed and delved into.) I answered the question and you shot back, “Hah! That’s a lie.” And I reflected for a moment or two and realized it was a lie, and I was lying to myself. Then I jolted awake; not fearfully, but with a realization, because it was true! And it was your voice I distinctly heard in my dream. You weren’t being mean spirited in the dream; you were “teaching”.

As bad as things are going globally and on a personal level, I have a certain joy as we move forward. I’ve put things you’ve taught into practice (over months and months ago) and in the past few days I think I’m beginning to make real headway. Everything is crumbling around me, yet I seem to have an inner calm I’ve never experienced before. I’ve also spotted some of the same “loops” of my life; really strange. Other odd things that I can’t expound on at the moment.

Love and all my best to you. And a big thank you and hug.

I didn't watch the game (east vs. east? -- yuck!) but I confess to peeking at the linked video of Madonna because I am, if nothing else, a curious cat. I think that's the first time I ever watched her, other than in a snippet of some kind glimpsed on TV. Anyway I was not impressed by her performance but I did like the complex electronics display. (I'll never lose my tendency to be distracted by flashing lights and fireworks.) I really do adore a beautiful singing voice but if one is blessed enough to have one (an honest one that is, no Auto-Tune, no Lip-Sync), it doesn't have to be pranced about to be appreciated by me. I've heard Madonna is very physically fit but I noticed her holding on to bars and wires to do some of those deep knee bends. Maybe her balance is a bit shot, like mine has become in my "golden" years. Well that's more than I intended to write, more than a toonies worth for sure.

When you are the same person and the syntax is unmistakeable, don't go anonymous. I saved you even more embarrassment by not posting your truly dumb comment. Madonna is not a standard bearer of women's rights, unless you think whoring for the profit of the men running that shell company are on the up and up. Spare me, at least I spared the readers.

I could put up with a lot from her if she had any talent whatsoever. She doesn't. She can't write, she can't sing and she can't dance. The writing is like a coke commercial. The singing is tone adjusted and layered in ways that no capable A Capella would resort to and the dancing is herky jerky simu outta sync. One thing we know is that women can naturally dance better than men; not in this case.

Look, you have an investment in the kind of Formica condo futures that this skank shills for but trust me, in the end she does the same thing to your brain waves that Coca Cola does to battery cables.

Vis,

That picture of the Pope is scary. He's morphing into Bela Lugosi. Mabybe even Nosferatu.

Madonna and the Superbowl--entertaining, for all the wrong and unintended reasons. The sad(and frightening) part is, the Madonnas(and Romneys and Obamas and Newts and Eltons and McCartneys et al ad nauseum) of the world take themselves seriously. They truely believe they're not in some contorted, real-life version of a 'This is Spinal Tap'-ish movie.

The Superbowl--curiously dull game but it resonated well with the hollowness of the spectacle. The fix was in. The ennui was apparent.

You are digging ever deeper holes. How would the first part read as evidence with no name? It could be rhetorical. Let's see if the wink nod author shows up shortly.

Look, you have your tastes and I have mine. You will find few people defending Madonna around here.

Only a completely sold out and bankrupt soul and hugely dependent on the industry gives an entire country a blow job. I will admit if anyone can pull it off Madonna can. I used to have dreams of walking around inside her vagina and seeing the names of countless Roman legions inscribed on the walls; something like "Kilroy was here".

She's not the only bad apple in a reasonable barrel where you don't have to hear, "Arh Jim, you're smart as paint". However, she's the Columbia Records version of Hillary Clinton and she's meaner than a junkyard dog and I do know what I am talking about.

Streisand is worse and Whitney Houston comes close but the real lubricated cigar goes to the woman wearing the strapon. I've got a sneaking suspicion that Guy Ritchie wakes up every day saying, "Thank you Jesus"|!

Vis, All,

Much resonance, as always.

I didn't watch the game though I was interested in the outcome (winner/loser scores) for my usual esoteric "spiritual" reasons. I believe God speaks through all media, including the Super Bowl, and the final score numbers were interesting, in a Biblical sense.

I was particularly intrigued to learn this morning when I read the news that Madonna used an Egyptian / Temple theme.

In the Bible, Egypt is very often used as a metaphor for the "world"; it is on par with Babylon and Mystery Babylon, i.e., that entity which captures your spirit and being and keeps one away/apart from God.

Indeed, we are all here for the purposes of demonstration, Madonna and the Super Bowl included. I did watch part of the youtube video you linked and to me, all the performers seemed stilted, mechanical... just going through the motions. No joy, no spontaneity, no inspiration... just going through the motions for the sake of demonstration.

I don't know if all of that is metaphorical or not. I have felt for the last several weeks that at this time The Powers That Would have learned or sensed that their time is coming to an end, the handwriting is on the wall, the sentence has been pronounced in the Divine Court and they are all just going through the motions because they have nothing else to offer.

They cannot fully see nor hear what is on the horizon; this is not their fault as they are playing the roles God gave them to perform. I don't know, but suspect Madonna lost long ago the opportunity of removing her mask; she has to keep it on now until it consumes her. As you said some time ago, when you buy into the package, you get to share in the rewards when the box is opened.

I suspect we're quite close to that box being opened. Egypt/Babylon is just going through the motions and its servants will keep doing those things they sold their soul to do. In the end they will learn they sold their all for a nothing.

I recall as a teenager in 1983 seeing an unknown artist called Madonna lamely dancing and lip-synching a song called 'Holiday' on an Australian music TV show.
I remember thinking 'talentless shite'. Not long afterwards she is on of the biggest 'stars' around!
She must be good, because everyone says so, eh? The sheeple get told what to like and follow. Inane and unwatchable 'Big Brother' TV shows and the like. If McDonalds brought out a shit-sandwich people would buy it, and say it tastes great.

I too watched the Super Bowl last night, something I never do, and knowing hardly anything about the rules I could not say one way or the other if the game was fixed.

Les you mentioned feeling embarrassed at the spectacle of Madonna. Thank god, I thought it was just me. I felt my face turn red.

Jeepers-creepers, the thought that some ET or intelligent life form might have been watching from on high and assumed that this was a typical representation of the human species. It was like watching ‘You’ve been Famed’ you know the one were the granny makes a spectacle of herself at the wedding reception as she dances around lifting her skirt and flashing her bloomers. It would have been laughable if it hadn’t been so sinister. I could have done with a real mask I felt that embarrassed.

Anyway talking about masks, I have about six of them. I don’t really mean to wear them but I feel I have too; it’s a rare occasion when you can just be yourself these days. I don’t think I wear them when I look in the mirror. I know god can see right through me so why kid myself?

As always Les, you’re on the ball.

Hey yesterday I read here about a nuclear event at the super bowl, I thought it was very funny, and said on the Huffington post how a nuclear explosion over the stadium might actually be more exiting...the cops called the house this morning saying someone was making terrorist threats from my ip address. And so I did get on the Huffington post today to talk about nuclear war and the upcoming holocaust because the illuminati want to bomb 60 cities, according to their 'plans'

I'm not going to stop just because I do reveal things on mainstream media posts. Now Of course I will be filtered, because I am using words like bombs and nuclear war heads.

Wow I dont watch TV but saw all the hub about the Madonna show so I watched.

Wow, talk about masks. Of the simple symbols we know, the eye, the rising sun, and Moloch thats basic stuff. Those images are for the elite to play within. They dont have any real power. Its just insider talk per say.

Look at the colors however. Colors carry info that all living being respond to and work within. Les you might have turned away in time, but the red, white, and black colors used are very, very old. Those colors put together mean the "death head." The very mixes makes death open and welcome. It makes waves of fear and puts people into a death wise of sorts. The flow went white to red and white to all three then back to black. Get the pattern?

Im just suggesting from past use of colors and not trying to scare people, but those that saw the show are being washed with fear and energy for sacrifice. If you know the deal however, the magic doesnt work.

I love rap(hip-hop) but rap died around the early 90s. I loved Madonna when I use young, she helped me be a sexual driven boy wanting to make money to get a blow job.

Also, all games are fixed. One side wins and one looses every time, pretty fixed no?

Wow Mandocello, head over to 5820 Overbrook Ave on the Main Line in Overbrook Philly and say hello to my friends at The Guru Bawa Fellowship.

Ask for Michael Green. He's a really nice guy and one of the great artists of our time. When I knew my life was going to change in unpleasant and unpredictable ways and I knew I could not drag Sally down into it, I went to Michael and handed him two golden wedding rings and I said, "She's yours". Michael isn't big on thank yous but it was apparent how much he loved her. Well, everyone was in love with Sally. It worked out though, for all concerned

Seriously, go by there. It might be 5280 Overbrook. I would hate to misinform you but anyone near or around there should go see Michael. He's a jewel. You want spiritual, you'll get it. Make sure you know where he is and go there.

He might be at his farmhouse in the country. I only say this because ashrams are strange. When Bawa died, or disappeared, which is a better way to put it, the people who took over paved over the beautiful lawn in front and made it into a parking lot with spots assigned to them. It broke my heart to see that. It would have never happened while Bawa was still in the flesh.

My point is, see Michael but don't go there if he is not there. He's not hard to find. You'll like him. He's a bit stick in the mud compared to me but he is far more solid and dependable that I am.

I dunno Les - even the lowest paid NFL players make over a million dollars per season, which translates into: they earn twice as much money per game as the average wage earner in the US earns in a year. You can only pay people to deliberately lose, and unless the orders come from "on high", I don't see that happening.
You would have to have ordered the Patriots to lose, because the general consensus is that they are a far better team than the Giants, and they have the records to prove it.

I suppose the "fix" point is moot anyway, because it simply does not matter.

I listened to the game on radio. I would not have watched Madonna either, but only because I have never been interested in her, ever.

Oh my gosh. Now you're talking Ratz. I really tried to contain myself, but he's such a personal thorn in this particular side, so please forgive the verbosity. You do know that his position before going the Pope route was Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, formally known as the Supreme Sacred Congregation of the Roman and Universal Inquisition...yes, indeedy, he was the Grand Inquisitor. Now he's Pope, go figure.

Back in the day, before chemtrails, and morgellons, and general world going down the crapper stuff, I was into the apparitions of Fatima. Big time. I probably have 50+ books (REAL books, with pages) on the subject. You know the infamous "Third Secret of Fatima"? The three peasant kids in Portugal, in 1917, who had visions of a beautiful Lady. The grand finale was when the sun spun crazily in the sky and freaked the heck out of 70,000+ witnesses (if you believe the low numbers.) The Lady told them three secrets, the first two are known, the third secret, the REAL third secret, is not, despite what those creeps say.

Ratz has read the Third secret. You bet your booties he has. He's the one who decided that the Catholic faithful don't get to know what it is. "The Lady" wanted the secret to be revealed in 1960, because "in 1960, the Message will appear more clear." They didn't come clean in 1960, I know, I was there in the pew waiting. I heard my parish priest support the lie. I always wondered how the church thought they trumped the Mother of God, but that's just me. In August 1984, as a Cardinal, Ratz wrote the Ratzinger report. he said that the 3rd secret concerned the "dangers, which threaten the faith and the life of Christians."

He wrote that the 3rd secret of Fatima has to do with what he called "denivissimis". This Latin expression means "dealing with the end times", pertaining to the latter days, or about the final events. Personally, I think it also has a bunch to do with the apostacy of the church, but then again, that's just me. So there you go, check out the story link if you're into it. UFO's even pop up along the way. Ratz...poor Catholics. I knew when he became Pope, it was all over but the shoutin'

The one album was in mono. I paid $3.00 for it. It was Sonny Boy Williamson II and the Yardbirds.

I had quite a timely album collection back in the day.
All the albums I either worked for, traded for or people gave to me.

In the end I gave my stereo and albums to a young man who had the music in him.

My idea of opera was always Otis Redding singing "Try A Little Tenderness." (that's all you got to do)

Like you, I was a jock in my youth and always felt the only place to get a fair break was on the sports field or court, as the case may be. While I recoil at the grotesqueness of the Super Bowl and the insane egocentric occult agenda of most of entertainment -- occasionally a real human story sneaks through.

In my case, it relates to my son's AAU basketball team on which he played with Hakim Nicks and Steph Curry. By junior year Hakim became resigned to the fact that he would never break the starting line-up and get a D1 scholarship. Then by chance he walked onto the football team, subbed for the regular starter who was injured and caught the eye of the coaches at UNC who offered him a free ride that he didn't mess up with bad attitude and bad grades. He was grateful and excelled and the Giants like what they saw.. Although Hakim was from the ghetto, his father and brother were both in and out of the slammer for drugs and robbery over the years we knew him, but Hakim was sweet and honest, one of those nice guys that finish last types... only this nice guy made it to the NFL and just broke the pass catches record for post season games. I know Hakim is straight and while I do agree there is a dark hand behind many of these games, I don't think it is the players throwing the games. It's an off-the-book use of military psychotronic and cytronics that zap performances as needed at certain moments and speed up passes to send it through a guys outstretched hands and slow down balls as needed to trip up runners as needs be...

Before the game, I heard on the radio that the Giants were 100:1 long shot to win the super bowl at the start of the season. At that point I knew that the Giants would win, and that someone would profit very handsomely on that bet.

Gotta wonder how a 7-7 team could suddenly become championship material, and how good teams could fold so completely. Note the game was kept close so that people would continue to watch the game and the commercials, and New York is a bigger media market than Boston.

As for Mad-Unna, I think she is the epitome of debauchery. Unna: take your pick - a retard with especially straight teeth or a German girl's name according to the urban dictionary. Origin by way of Aussie aborigines. Unna also means 'you', as in "Unna get your asses out of bed!" Which is a problem for me.

I don't know why I feel like giving a lecture here, forgive me, Vis. Pavarotti has me all in goose bumps. And I hope this is not the last statement of the disappearing woman prior to. Love, especially to you, Vis, but all the other frequenters too, Silvia

God is letting this happen. And, I DO know why. We ignore Him. Many will die, and they deserve to die.

Ellen Degenerate . . . the name issue always been at the back of my mind or I remember thinking up the relation too.

Why does Ellen allow herself to be used for her name?

With 80 million to her name now, Ellen should invest in a proxy that is lesbian that has a great name and looks really healthy and robust for the younger generation to identify with (am not so young and already feel Ellen is kinda distant from the teen to young adult bunch).

Ellen should keep on at whatever works, though careful not to eclipse the newbie's personae. There really are too few POSITIVE or even 'Balanced' (i.e. not narcissistic or non-family oriented/friendly YOUNGER lesbians on TV these days.) lesbian personalities who have as much coverage . . .

"Gaining control of the mind is similar to being able to ride that horse and it will take you anywhere you want to go."

I appreciate your comparison of the mind with horse riding. Recently I started reading Turning the Mind into an Ally by Sakyong Mipham
where meditation is explained also in terms of horse riding. Small excerpt from the book:
"
When you're training a horse, at first you have to kick it to make it go left. Later all you have to do is make one little finger gesture and the horse immediately does what you want. You're in tune with each other, and there's a sense of complete harmony. Riding doesn't exhaust you - just as meditating won't exhaust you."

Although before starting meditating the mind sometimes felt more like a carriage pulled by three screeching monkeys on each of the four sides.

Speaking of horses and much more than that I'd like to remind everyone of the film Buck (2011) which
bholanath already mentioned in another post.
This guy is incredible and the real deal. This is all the more interesting because there is also some kind of Anti-Buck out there who is to margerine what Buck is to butter. Anti-Buck had the greater exposure the last dozen or so years because he is the better showman. Buck of course never cared for marketing. He was always just about horses and it shows. I especially like that the film was done by a woman who had never made a film before in her life.

I am sort of paralysed in my present state. Nothing that I want that inspires me to get 'going'. No so much learned helplessness as learned futility."
I feel almost the same but positive and instead of naming it futility I would say I am calm and cautious not to jump into another futile activity. But I sincerely hope that I will get the right impulses to move towards the right direction. Everything that interferes with my calm breathing just seems wrong at the moment :)

False history is written by the victors. The lies are perpetuated by those who told them - the zionists - and become history.

Therefore most of history is not true. It is a written account of lies over centuries.

Makes our existence, our lives a kind of joke. Those in financial control have rigged the past and are rigging the present right before our eyes. 9/11 is a recent case in point.

What to do? Pray? Perhaps but the genocide of innocent civilians around the world continues despite our prayers for it to stop. History keeps on getting written in the perverse way that benfits those in financial power - right now the Rothschild zionist international usury bankers.

Where is God in all this? I do not understand why the present state just keep on going, keeps on killing and destroying people and countries. It really is all too much. And the more one becomes aware of true history the more hopeless it seems. If there really is universal justice and karma why hasn't it kicked in already?

We seem to be the walking dead. The world is a killing machine run by psychopaths that obfuscate and punish those pointing out the truth at evey turn.

Now they are rigging the electons against the US people's choice of Ron Paul. And if it is Soetoro or Romney as president the war against innocent Iranians will occur.

Sorry this is so long - it is a reflection of having knowledge of the obscene truth of this war world facade, but not knowing what to do to change the homocidal events which continue to unfold.

We are like the walking dead. Knowledge of the truth about the corrupt, murderous world we live in doesn't change anything.

Thank you for all you work Visible about the truth.

Let's review General Pike's famous 1871 Letter to Giuseppe Mazzini:

"The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the "agentur" of the "Illuminati" between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World," Pike wrote.

"Agentur" means "agent." The same term is used in another Illuminati document "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" which dates from the same period.

The key point here is these wars are contrived. They are "caused by agentur of the Illuminati" on both sides. These agents owe their first loyalty to the Illuminati not to their countries.

Their aim is to destroy their respective countries and profit from the carnage.

Pike continues: "The [third] war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other."

The rest of the world will be drawn in. "Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion..."

At this point, they will be constrained to accept the Luciferian one-world government.

Aka the zio new world order, brought to you by the synagogue of Satan.

She said something like, He can't throw the ball AND catch them too! She was angry and incredulous that they played so badly. But the immediate thing I thought of was, That's 'cause it's fixed. But, she doesn't realize this I guess and just assumed they were playing poorly.

The way I look at it is, you don't make it all the way to the Superbowl, then start dropping balls left and right unless somebody told you to. I don't know why people even bother watching sports. It all seems fixed from what I'm getting. (years ago my brother claimed that while he was watching an LA Lakers basketball game the announcer announced the wrong score at the end of a quarter....but which turned out to be the score at the end of the *next* quarter. He said that at that moment he realized it's all rigged, and he never watched another game again.)

To kikz et al haters of madonna:

I respond thusly:

Madonna has worked hard to bring a genre of dance club music into deeper meaning.

Madonna had the courage to explore sexuality, at a time when women were not allowed to consider their sexual needs.

Weak women like gaga, make themselves into slaves, rather than Madonna who doesn't follow anyone's rules.

Madonna has nothing to say to her haters. She had the grace to say nothing to gaga, when her material was stolen.

Her show ended w the words "World Peace". THAT is Madonna's message on the eve of WW3.

As for the random comment about "ageism" there is a certain fogy judgmental element to people who like to pretend that they are better than anyone, bc they are so "enlightened". it may be that they are "enlightened" or not.

For a woman of over 50 to dance like that, and put on such a big show, I salute her energy, and her talent. she is a hard working woman, and I admire her.

And, lastly, Guy Richie is a asshat.

Really odd, cuz my first impression of your responses here (months and months ago), I imagined you to be of male gender. I basically wrote you off (again, months ago) when you expounded on the necessity of “working within the system” in order to set things right again.

What a load of crap. Wow! You've outdone yourself. And you dumped on Lady Gaga who, despite being a twisted freak- but not as twisted as Madonna- is a far better singer and musician. She also a better songwriter but, that said, Poncho is a better song writer, Ahroooooooooo!

Speaking of songwriters, I thought I would share with you my Double album, "Not Politically Correct" and a few outtakes from other times for your listening pleasure, if it is a pleasure and doesn't just annoy you (grin). Anyway, I principally want you all to listen to my Lovesong for Madonna. it should be up by now but if it isn't just wait a few minutes. There's some pretty offensive music here that is bound to offend everyone sooner or later. Surfer Joe is pretty interesting and of course, "We Shall all be Underground" where I was envisioning waterboarding Iggy Pop. Well, it's all free and shades of Zappa, except for the sweet stuff. If you are listening to sweet stuff it's from other albums. This is a gift, if you think it was worth giving and all I ask is that you tell me what you think but especially listen to the Madonna cut.

Katz, I am pretty certain you are just fucking with us because the alternative possibility that you could be this clueless is difficult for me to ingest or digest as you prefer. Then I really have to wonder what you are doing here and I am also giving you an out. You kind of remind me of the girl in the song Bad Dogs and Barbed Wire which is also included; a real life story as a matter of fact based on a lady named Adrianne, an internet romance that turned into a real life nightmare.

Susanne asked me not to bring her in on offered events like I presented to you. She doesn't want to know about these things. I think that means we should get a room.

katz said...

I've been thinking about what you posted yesterday to me. I took it as a joke, but the more I think of it, the more degrading and disgusting I think you are.

Secondly, if you hate women that much, it's no wonder that Suzzanne is glad to get a break from you.

I don't want to hear anything more about your disgusting sexual ideas as they pertain to me, bc you are not attractive to me, at all. You know exactly what you are, and that will explain it enough so that I don't have to spell it out and hurt your feelings, if you have any.

I am not your sycophant. You can post my post, or not, IDC. I'm not your groupy, and you are not the only blog that I read.

And to that last person, I don't think you think much, so mind your own business. If you think that kind of thing is appropriate, and at the same time you want to bash Madonna for her work bc it is sexy, then the joke is on you, pottymouth.

Ad hominem attacks mean you got nothing to say.

Visible said...

Katz, I have zero interest in you that way but if I were you I would go back to your immediate response to my offer. It is very telling.

As for Susanne and I, we are getting along better now than in the whole time I have known her. There's nothing prurient about me. I could be decked out with groupies like it was some kind of interwoven human lei and I have never once used my position (which is not the missionary position) to have sex, not once.

There is no one on the internet or in real life that can say I came on to them or that I didn't use extreme finesse when they came on to me.

Now should I find the proper fairy tale princess I will probably take that right off the buffet table. I'm just being honest but so far that fairy tale princess has not met my excessive parameters.

You need to lighten up. You take yourself way too seriously and you make shit up, like certain other people who, when faced with telling the truth, which should have been enough, simply make shit up and make it up while people who were present and observed the whole thing are also CC'd in. People are weird. People think I am weird but I am nearly normal by comparison.

Anyway, take your umbrage and stick it where the sun don't shine. You're welcome here and once you get past that Krazy Glue thing where you take offense instead of just rolling with the punches, you'll be okay. You started this shit. Madonna is a serious creep; not just my opinion and how would you know anything about Guy Ritchie? I know more about why they broke up than you do because a very famous person from London told me, so I would say that you don't know the half of it. You'd be surprised at some of the people that read these blogs. I don't tell tales and I'm dead discreet which is why certain people trust me.

katz said...

If you said any of these things to me in person, I'd kick your arshe in ten seconds flat. and, I would not be laughing while I did.

You are discreet? I am really laughing out loud on that one.

Visible said...

katz, you could not possibly kick my ass, even if you bring a couple of friends. There are a few things I am pretty good at and not getting my ass kicked is one of them. What's your problem? You're angry at yourself for your first response to my satirical offer, that's what is really going on and now you've fixed it so that a lot of people are going to go back and look at it. Nice work; talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Go download the tunes. You might even laugh. Remember, there's only Botox in your future if you keep scowling.

Hey Kitty Katz,

Do you have five of the following nine criteria according to DSMIV?

###

Borderline Personality Disorder DSM IV Criteria

A pervasive pattern of instability of interpersonal relationships, self-image, and affects, and marked impulsivity beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

1. frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment. Note: Do not include suicidal or self-mutilating behavior covered in Criterion 5.

2. a pattern of unstable and intense interpersonal relationships characterized by alternating between extremes of idealization and devaluation.

3. identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self.

4. impulsivity in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g., spending, sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating). Note: Do not include suicidal or self-mutilating behavior covered in Criterion 5.

5. recurrent suicidal behavior, gestures, or threats, or self-mutilating behavior

6. affective instability due to a marked reactivity of mood (e.g., intense episodic dysphoria, irritability, or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days).

7. chronic feelings of emptiness

8. inappropriate, intense anger or difficulty controlling anger (e.g., frequent displays of temper, constant anger, recurrent physical fights)

9. transient, stress-related paranoid ideation or severe dissociative symptoms

The DSM IV goes on to say:

The essential feature of Borderline Personality Disorder is a pervasive pattern of instability of interpersonal relationships, self-image, and affects, and marked impulsivity that begins by early adulthood and is present in a variety of contexts.

Individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder make frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment (Criterion 1). The perception of impending separation or rejection, or the loss of external structure, can lead to profound changes in self-image, affect, cognition, and behavior. These individuals are very sensitive to environmental circumstances. They experience intense abandonment fears and inappropriate anger even when faced with a realistic time-limited separation or when there are unavoidable changes in plans (e.g. sudden despair in reaction to a clinician’s announcing the end of the hour; panic of fury when someone important to them is just a few minutes late or must cancel an appointment). They may believe that this "abandonment" implies they are "bad." These abandonment fears are related to an intolerance of being alone and a need to have other people with them. Their frantic efforts to avoid abandonment may include impulsive actions such as self-mutilating or suicidal behaviors, which are described separately in Criterion 5.

Individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder have a pattern of unstable and intense relationships (Criterion 2). They may idealize potential caregivers or lovers at the first or second meeting, demand to spend a lot of time together, and share the most intimate details early in a relationship. However, they may switch quickly from idealizing other people to devaluing them, feeling that the other person does not care enough, does not give enough, is not "there" enough. These individuals can empathize with and nurture other people, but only with the expectation that the other person will "be there" in return to meet their own needs on demand. These individuals are prone to sudden and dramatic shifts in their view of others, who may alternately be seen as beneficent supports or as cruelly punitive. Such shifts often reflect disillusionment with a caregiver who nurturing qualities had been idealized or whose rejection or abandonment is expected.

part 2 of 3 said...

There may be an identity disturbance characterized by markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self (Criterion 3). There are sudden and dramatic shifts in self-image, characterized by shifting goals, values, and vocational aspirations. There may be sudden changes in opinions and plans about career, sexual identity, values, and types of friends. These individuals may suddenly change from the role of a needy supplicant for help to a righteous avenger of past mistreatment. Although they usually have a self-image that is based on being bad or evil, individuals with this disorder may at times have feelings that they do not exist at all. Such experiences usually occur in situations in which the individual feels a lack of meaningful relationship, nurturing and support. These individuals may show worse performance in unstructured work or school situations.

Individuals with this disorder display impulsivity in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (Criterion 4). They may gamble, spend money irresponsibly, binge eat, abuse substances, engage in unsafe sex, or drive recklessly. Individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder display recurrent suicidal behavior, gestures, or threats, or self-mutilating behavior (Criterion 5). Completed suicide occurs in 8%-10% of such individuals, and self-mutilative acts (e.g., cutting or burning) and suicide threats and attempts are very common. Recurrent suicidality is often the reason that these individuals present for help. These self-destructive acts are usually precipitated by threats of separation or rejection or by expectations that they assume increased responsibility. Self-mutilation may occur during dissociative experiences and often brings relief by reaffirming the ability to feel or by expiating the individual’s sense of being evil.

Individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder may display affective instability that is due to a marked reactivity of mood (e.g., intense episodic dysphoria, irritability, or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days) (Criterion 6). The basic dysphoric mood of those with Borderline Personality Disorder is often disrupted by periods of anger, panic, or despair and is rarely relieved by periods of well-being or satisfaction. These episodes may reflect the individual’s extreme reactivity troubled by chronic feelings of emptiness (Criterion 7). Easily bored, they may constantly seek something to do. Individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder frequently express inappropriate, intense anger or have difficulty controlling their anger (Criterion 8). They may display extreme sarcasm, enduring bitterness, or verbal outbursts. The anger is often elicited when a caregiver or lover is seen as neglectful, withholding, uncaring, or abandoning. Such expressions of anger are often followed by shame and guilt and contribute to the feeling they have of being evil. During periods of extreme stress, transient paranoid ideation or dissociative symptoms (e.g., depersonalization) may occur (Criterion 9), but these are generally of insufficient severity or duration to warrant an additional diagnosis. These episodes occur most frequently in response to a real or imagined abandonment. Symptoms tend to be transient, lasting minutes or hours. The real or perceived return of the caregiver’s nurturance may result in a remission of symptoms.

Associated Features and Disorders

Individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder may have a pattern of undermining themselves at the moment a goal is about to be realized (e.g., dropping out of school just before graduation; regressing severely after a discussion of how well therapy is going; destroying a good relationship just when it is clear that the relationship could last). Some individuals develop psychotic-like symptoms (e.g., hallucinations, body-image distortions, ideas of reference, and hypnotic phenomena) during times of stress. Individuals with this disorder may feel more secure with transitional objects (i.e., a pet or inanimate possession) than in interpersonal relationships. Premature death from suicide may occur in individuals with this disorder, especially in those with co-occurring Mood Disorders or Substance-Related Disorders. Physical handicaps may result from self-inflicted abuse behaviors or failed suicide attempts. Recurrent job losses, interrupted education, and broken marriages are common. Physical and sexual abuse, neglect, hostile conflict, and early parental loss or separation are more common in the childhood histories of those with Borderline Personality Disorder. Common co-occurring Axis I disorders include Mood Disorders, Substance-Related Disorders, Eating Disorders (notably Bulimia), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Borderline Personality Disorder also frequently co-occurs with the other Personality Disorders.

Specific Culture, Age, and Gender Features

The pattern of behavior seen in Borderline Personality Disorder has been identified in many settings around the world. Adolescents and young adults with identity problems (especially when accompanied by substance abuse) may transiently display behaviors that misleadingly give the impression of Borderline Personality Disorder. Such situations are characterized by emotional instability, "existential" dilemmas, uncertainty, anxiety-provoking choices, conflicts about sexual orientation, and competing social pressures to decide on careers. Borderline Personality Disorder is diagnosed predominantly (about 75%) in females.

Prevalence

The prevalence of Borderline Personality Disorder is estimated to be about 2% of the general population, about 10% among individuals seen in outpatient mental health clinics, and about 20% among psychiatric inpatients. In ranges from 30% to 60% among clinical populations with Personality Disorders.

Course

There is considerable variability in the course of Borderline Personality Disorder. The most common pattern is one of chronic instability in early adulthood, with episodes of serious affective and impulsive dyscontrol and high levels of use of health and mental health resources. The impairment from the disorder and the risk of suicide are greatest in the young-adult years and gradually wane with advancing age. During their 30s and 40s, the majority of individuals with this disorder attain greater stability in their relationships and vocational functioning.

Familial Pattern

Borderline Personality Disorder is about five times more common among first-degree biological relatives of those with the disorder than in the general population. There is also an increased familial risk for Substance-Related Disorders, Antisocial Personality Disorder, and Mood Disorders.

I like Willie Nelson but I wouldn't fall out with every one over him, it’s not like he’s blood or anything, or needs me to prove how good he is. If you like Madonna then so be it, better just keep it to yourself and you will be fine.

Don't slam the door closed in haste or pride. This can all be settled with a little humility on your part. Prove to yourself that you can be wrong from time to time and still manage to get up that mountain. We all fall, but it’s the getting back up that counts. Is mad-donna really worth it?
Come on Katzs, bite the bullet and we can all put this behind us. I and others have been where you are now. Sometimes you’re right when you’re wrong.

That has to be the first time I actually read a cut and paste of that size, but damn that is accurate. I'm not entirely sure about it's application to the particular subject but that guy or girl is lucid. It reminds me a lot of Schopenhauer, whose disciple was Nietzsche.

See?
I told you Gurney was a sweet guy.

One back at you Gurneygob.

Sometimes your wrong when you are right.

Katz there is nothing wrong with being in love with Visible. It's not he we are in love with and he will be the first to tell you that. I am one of the first people to post on his sites. Go back to the very beginning and you will see me. I don't say much anymore because I no longer have anything to say.

I am originally from Ireland, early on I met up with Visible in Basel and he couldn't have been nicer to me. I'm young and attractive. I'm not as young as I was when I met him ten years ago. I would have pretty much gone with him and done anything if he had only asked.

He took me into a bar and set me up with another guy and I wound up living with him for five years. I even have a Swiss passport now and a good job with Merck, even though they are doing bad things. I have to do what I am put in place to do.

I will never forget Visible deflecting my obviously amorous signals in his direction. Peter O'Toole couldn't have done it better. Some people love God more than pussy and I met someone like that and I love him ten times as much now for not taking advantage of me.

This is a true story. My husband and I got together with him several times when he used to come into Basel to go to the museums or buy drugs. Pieter liked him too and he is still friends with both of us. You should meet the guy before you make up headlines in your mind.

Basel sounds like any other western city, these days. If it wasn't for the museums and procurement of drugs why would you bother?

For any frustrated ladies out there rejected by Vis, If you can make your way to my part of rural Australia, I'm yours.

I'm tall and slim, and if I wrap a bandana on my head we should have no trouble with make-believe.
Ahrooooooooooo!

What Richie (Dana) said...

Well Dana I can’t do right for doing wrong and vice versa. Hee hee. BTW I am not so sweet. I am a patient sort of fellow and willing to give room, to a point. I can also bitch and bite with the rest of them when needs be. Woof woof!!!!!

all that psychological jargon can be boiled down to: fucked in the head. Hey, it happens to a lot of us. I thought I was reaing my biography there for a while.

Way to go Smyrna... Way to go. Erin is one of my oldest friends. Bill and Bruce don't show up much anymore either and Ben There is still around and he has been with me longer than any of the rest. He goes back to Slate and The Best of the Fray. Imagine an environment totally dominated by Zionists and I was the lone voice of disagreement, except for Ben. I don't know if he will see this but if he does I am sure he can tell some tales. When they attacked Iraq, I created my WMD countdown cause I knew it was bullshit. I got to Day 150 or close and they never found any WMD's. Oh they hounded and hated me. When I became a gold star poster there were howls all through the forest and, Yes, I have seen Liam Neeson in The Grey. I probably misspelled something there.

How does Mr. Visible get all those movies before they come out in the theater. Contacts, baby and location, location, location. Actually, location don't mean shit. Friends in low places best sums it up. The best contacts a person can make in this day and age are the young hackers. For some reason, my politics and their grasp of zeroes and ones tends to make the kind of marriage where sex might be on the menu but the Vulcan mind meld is the result.

We are everywhere and soon that is going to be very evident. I'll say no more.

I agree with Anonymouse,

This has been the most fun read in some time.

Looks like I'm here in the cul-de-sac for the duration. No more time.

Still watching the wheels, and although I've been pretty busy getting us ready, I still try to read as much as possible.

Always good to hear what you have to say Vis,

Meow,
